My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
A giant, fluffy black cat towers over a burning skyline on this kaiju cat mouse pad, one huge paw swiping through the buildings while smoke and firelight fill the sky. Painted in watercolor, the kaiju cat desk mat turns a classic monster-movie scene into a joke every cat owner understands, with gold lightning cracking across an orange sky and the city glowing below.
Give this kaiju cat desk mat to the friend whose cat knocks everything off the table, to fans of giant-monster films, or to anyone who wants a funny but well-painted desk. The orange and black palette is warm and dramatic, and the darker tones are forgiving on a busy work surface.
Why this kaiju cat mouse pad makes people laugh
Kaiju, the Japanese word for "strange beast," describes the towering creatures that stomp through cities in monster cinema. Swapping the usual scaly giant for a house cat plays on something every pet owner already suspects: at home, the cat is in charge. The soft watercolor style adds charm to the chaos, and the gold linework makes the lightning and rooftops shimmer, so the joke still looks like proper art rather than a cartoon.
Kaiju cat desk mat sizes
- S (11.8″ × 15.7″): a simple pad for the mouse alone.
- XL (15.7″ × 35.4″): wide enough for keyboard and mouse side by side.
- XXXL (19.7″ × 39.4″): a cinematic, extra-long panel for the whole skyline.
- L chair mat (47.2″ × 70.9″): the biggest option, made for hard floors under a desk chair.
Construction and cleaning
A micro-woven polyester cloth top keeps your mouse moving cleanly, whether it uses an optical or laser sensor. The 3 mm natural rubber base grips the desk, and the precision-stitched edging stops fraying before it starts. Thanks to HD, fade-resistant printing, the orange sky keeps its glow.
Most marks come off the orange sky with a damp cloth. If you need a full wash, place it in the machine on a gentle cycle, cold or lukewarm, with a mild detergent, and dry it flat in the air afterward. Bleach, dryers and irons are off-limits. This kaiju cat mouse pad is made to order, so allow 1–3 business days for production plus 2–5 business days for shipping.
