My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
Kikoru Shinomiya stands dead center with both hands resting on the haft of her oversized axe, scowling out from a ring of plum and gold. This Kaiju No. 8 round rug lays the whole scene out for the circle, with the portrait in the middle and heraldic panels marching around it. Twin tails of yellow hair sweep outward like banners.
A circle changes how a room reads, because it has no corners to fight the furniture. Slide it beside a bed and it becomes a soft landing spot for bare feet. Put it under a desk and the medallion frames your chair like a stage. Under a desk, it also works as a chair mat for anyone who wants their fandom at floor level.
The Design: Heraldic Fighter Portrait
The artwork borrows the look of an old illuminated carpet and gives it a sharper subject. Kikoru wears her dark combat suit with pale armor at the shoulders, forearms and boots, and her arms are locked on that heavy double-bladed axe planted between her feet. Around her, an inner ring of deep plum holds gold eight-point stars and red roses on curling vines. Cream filigree fills the wider band, where quatrefoil panels show crowns, golden trophies, winged emblems and spiked red-eyed orbs. A darker outer border repeats crowns and axe heads all the way around.
The palette stays tight: plum, antique gold, warm cream and a few rose reds. Nothing here is a flat poster crop, which is what sets it apart from other Kaiju No. 8 designs. If you want to see how the rest of the cast looks in circular form, browse other Kaiju No. 8 rugs in the shop.
Kikoru on the Floor
The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels pleasant underfoot without catching chair casters or door edges. A dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, so the gold linework and the plum fields stay crisp instead of sitting on top like a coating. The rubber backing is non-slip and grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. When the inevitable spill or muddy sneaker happens, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. It suits a gaming room rug setup especially well, since the medallion looks best when you can see it from the chair.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) up to 180 cm (70.9″). Choose 80 to 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the portrait stays visible around your feet. Step up to 120 to 140 cm for a reading nook or a corner shelf of manga volumes. The 160 to 180 cm sizes can anchor a seating area and let the whole border ring show. Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality, and Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the gold and plum print stays sharp.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No, the rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so Kikoru stays put even when a chair rolls over her.
Can I put it over carpet?
You can. The low-pile build lies flat over low-pile carpet, so the circle keeps its clean edge.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 100 cm for a desk and 140 cm for a nook. Go to 180 cm if you want the full border to show in a living space.
