Kyogre sweeps across the middle of this Pokemon round rug, seen from above with its fins spread wide and its red markings glowing against deep navy skin. Curling surf churns around the sea Pokemon, rain clouds and coral fill the rings beyond it, and the whole artwork is laid out for the circle, closed off by a gilded scroll border.
A circle behaves differently from a rectangle on the floor. It softens the sharp corners of a square room, and because this design is perfectly symmetrical, Kyogre faces you from every seat. Slide a desk chair across it and the pattern stays centered, which is why the smaller sizes double as a chair mat for a gaming desk.
The Design: Tidal Mandala Medallion
Think of an ornate tile rather than a poster. A scalloped gold frame holds the central scene, and inside it white-capped waves spiral outward in the manner of classic woodblock seas, each crest edged in pale foam. Kyogre sits at the eye of the storm with white fin tips and a calm, watchful stare. If you want a longer look at the range, more Pokemon rugs from the shop sit in one place.
