My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
Two rivals lean toward a small chess board at the center of this Death Note round rug, Light in a loosened red tie on the left against sweeping black feathers, L crouched in his white shirt on the right among pale plumes. Black, ivory and deep crimson carry the palette, and the whole scene is laid out for the circle, with a checkerboard border running the full rim.
A circle suits a face-off like this one. Under a desk chair, the two halves sit side by side as you roll back and forth, and beside a bed or in front of an armchair the mirrored composition reads like a medallion on the floor. Nothing gets cropped, whichever way you turn it.
The Design: A Mirrored Chess Duel
The artwork splits into a dark half and a light half, a bit like a yin-yang, with swirling feathers wrapping each character. Light's side is all charcoal plumes and ink-black shadow, while L's side drifts into ivory quills traced with red. Between them, a tiny chessboard holds a white king and a black king, and that is the whole story in one square inch.
Around the ring, medallions repeat the details fans spot at once: knights and rooks in opposite colors, a red apple at the top and bottom, steaming teacups, fountain pens, sugar cubes and black notebooks. Compass stars mark north and south, and baroque crimson flourishes tie everything together. Fans who want other scenes can find more Death Note rugs in the collection, though none of them play the chess angle quite like this.
Light and L on the Floor
The round cut keeps the composition centered, and the soft plush low-pile surface feels warm underfoot without getting in the way of chair wheels. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so the rug stays put on wood, tile and laminate. It is machine washable, too: a gentle cold cycle and an air-dry take care of spills and dust. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, which keeps the blacks deep and the reds clean.
Under a desk it works as a chair mat for long study or gaming sessions. In a bedroom it makes a quiet, moody anchor beside the bed. Pair it with a matching Death Note mouse pad and the desk finishes the thought.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5") to 180 cm (70.9"). Choose 80 to 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the central chessboard stays visible. Go 120 to 140 cm for a reading nook or a fan corner, and 160 to 180 cm if you want it to anchor a seating area with the full border on show.
Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Run it on a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the red and black print stays sharp.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No, the rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so the two rivals stay exactly where you set them.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. The checkerboard rim keeps its crisp edge there too.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside, and 120 cm or larger when you want the chess duel to be the focal point of the room.
