Loid stands at the heart of this Spy x Family round rug, one hand at his red tie and a brown leather briefcase hanging at his side. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a deep teal medallion holds him, and rings of cream panels and gold keys wrap around him all the way to the edge. Calm face, careful posture, every detail in its place.
A circle changes how a room reads. It softens square corners, sits neatly under a desk chair and gives a reading nook or the spot beside a bed a clear center. Here the shape suits the art especially well, because the keys and briefcases repeat around the border and nothing is cropped by a straight edge. In a home office the smaller sizes work as a chair mat that still looks like art.
The Design: A Teal Dossier Medallion
Think of an old case file turned into a carpet. Behind Loid, dotted routes loop across the teal field, with small compass stars and paper-plane arrows marking a path nobody is meant to follow. Around that center runs a cream ring of shaped panels, and each one holds a clue: an owl, a magnifying glass, a pocket watch, a masquerade mask, an open book, a steaming cup of coffee.
