Lotus Sage Round Rug - Mandala Circle Area Rug

A lotus opens at the center of this mandala round rug, its cream petals blushed with pink and traced in thin gold lines. Sage green fills the field around it, while smaller buds, fan shapes and curling leaves repeat in even rotation, and the whole artwork is laid out for the circle from the middle to the scalloped edge.

On the floor, a circle behaves differently from a rectangle. It softens the hard corners of a square room, anchors an armchair, and gives a bedside spot somewhere calm to land. Because the pattern radiates from one point, there is no wrong side to face, so you can turn it however the room asks.

The Design: Sage and Blush Lotus

The artwork borrows the crisp symmetry of Art Deco and softens it with garden color. Eight pointed lotus petals form the heart, ringed by a thin sunburst and a small gold-dotted hub. Around them, four fan motifs mark the compass points, and pairs of closed buds climb the curved vines between them. Fine gold linework runs through everything, like brass set into a tiled floor.

Color stays quiet. Muted sage carries the field, cream lifts the petals and the wide outer band, and a dusty blush shows up in the buds and the center. Nothing shouts. That restraint separates this piece from louder, high-contrast mandala designs, and it lets the rug sit comfortably next to oak, rattan or pale linen.

Look closely at the border. A ring of cream arches holds one lotus bud in each, repeating all the way around like a carved frieze, and a slim green rim finishes the edge.

Lotus on the Floor

Every rug is cut in a true circle with a soft plush, low-pile surface that feels gentle underfoot and stays easy to vacuum around. The non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as tile, laminate and sealed wood, so the rug stays put when you step on its edge. It is also machine washable: a gentle cold cycle and air-drying keep the colors fresh. The dye-sublimation print sets color into the fibers instead of sitting on top, which is how the fine gold lines stay crisp.

Beside a bed it makes a gentle bedroom rug that greets your feet each morning. Small sizes work as an accent rug next to a dresser or at the foot of a reading chair. Go larger and it becomes a round area rug under a coffee table. Set under a round dining table, the same piece reads as a quiet circle rug in a breakfast nook.

Sizes & Rug Level

Choose from six diameters, from 80 cm (31.5″) up to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit a bedside, a vanity stool or a narrow entry. The 120 and 140 cm rugs fill a reading nook or a nursery corner. At 160 to 180 cm, the lotus becomes the center of a seating area, with the cream border reaching under chair legs.

Two levels are available. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for most rooms. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for busy spots.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry, and the printed lotus and gold linework stay put.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips tile, laminate and sealed wood, which matters on a round rug whose edge you will step on often.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. Sage and cream read clearly even against a beige or gray carpet underneath.

Which size should I choose?

Pick 80 or 100 cm for a bedside, and 160 or 180 cm for a sofa or armchair group. Since the design is a single medallion, a larger size shows off the lotus border best.
