Product Description
Maka Albarn stands with her feet planted wide and her scythe held upright in this Soul Eater round rug, a carpet-style medallion with her at the very center. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a black-and-gold keyhole panel around her, a cream ring of crests beyond that, and a crimson border running out to the edge.
A circle changes how a room reads. It softens square corners, anchors a desk chair without boxing it in, and gives a bedroom floor a clear focal point that a rectangle never quite manages. Because the design radiates outward from Maka, it looks right from every side of the room.
The Design: Ornate Carpet, Death City
The idea here is an old heirloom carpet layout filled with Soul Eater symbols. Scrolling gold leaves curl across a near-black center, and pale blue soul flames drift beside Maka like sparks. Around her, the cream ring alternates grinning crescent moons, bone-white skulls, red ribbon bows and dark spellbooks, each sitting in its own small quatrefoil frame. The outer crimson band repeats eight-point stars and curved scythe blades between more flames. The palette stays tight: deep red, antique gold, cream and ink black, with those cool blue accents cutting through the warmth. Maka herself is drawn in clean manga linework, from her twin tails, green tie and yellow sweater vest to the red plaid skirt, white gloves and heavy buckled boots, so she pops off the dark panel.
