Product Description
Mamoswine pushes through a blizzard below towering blue glaciers, its great curved tusks lowered and snow whipping around its shaggy brown coat. This Pokemon poster captures the Twin Tusk Pokémon in a Japanese ink-and-watercolor style on aged paper, with icy teal washes, swirling wind strokes, a red title cartouche and seal stamps, and it is printed to order. White flakes speckle the whole frame.
Cool blues and warm brown fur balance each other nicely, giving the piece a calm winter mood. It suits wall art for bedroom spaces, cabins and ski-lodge styled rooms, and it feels right from December through March. Kids find its grumpy face especially charming.
The Artwork: Glacier Storm
Ice peaks rise in sharp vertical shards painted in layered turquoise and pale aqua, outlined in crisp black ink. Wind is shown the Japanese way, as long white brush ribbons that curl and break around the creature. Mamoswine's fur is built from quick dry-brush strokes in umber and tan, so it reads as thick and heavy against the cold background. Speckled white dots fill the sky like falling snow on an old woodblock print. In this ink-wash series it is the coolest palette and the coziest winter scene.
