The mousepad came in the exact sizing and design I needed and it only took a week to receive it. The initial wait is a bit sketchy at first due to how long they take to give u the order number but after 4-5 days u should receive it. Master Splinter leans on his walking stick, one arm outstretched in a calm defensive stance, while his red robe billows sideways and gold leaves drift through the air. His face is stern but patient, whiskers fanning out like brushstrokes. This Master Splinter Gilded TMNT MTG playmat honors the sensei rather than the fighters, and it carries a quieter kind of strength.
Deep burgundy, black and warm gold set the mood, almost autumnal. Splinter's face sits in the upper left, so it stays clear above your cards. On the right, the painting opens into a pale gold wash where sleeved cards and dice stand out cleanly.
The Art: Burgundy Robes and Gold Leaf
Thick, layered strokes build up the robe until the fabric almost looks carved. Gold leaf shapes scatter across the whole surface, each one edged with a thin gilded line. Fur on the face and arms is painted in fine individual hairs, a contrast to the bold robe. Drips and black ink spatter run down the right edge, adding motion to what is otherwise a still, focused pose.
Master Splinter at the Table
Every mat comes in 24 x 14 in (60 x 35 cm), the standard tournament size used at FNM and larger events. A micro-fiber top keeps card handling smooth and quiet. Grip comes from a non-slip rubber base that holds firm on wood, glass or laminate. Colors are dye-sublimated, locked into the fibers instead of sitting on top, so the gold and burgundy hold up through years of play. It belongs to our Magic playmats line, and our flagship TMNT playmat carries the same theme in another scene. Players of other games can browse all our TCG playmats.
With Zones or Without Zones
Pick With Zones for gentle markers covering library, graveyard, exile and command zone, along with lanes for lands and creatures on the battlefield.
