Meowth stands center stage with his hands on his hips, grinning out of a brick-red medallion sprinkled with gold stars. This Pokemon round rug builds the whole scene outward in rings, so the artwork is laid out for the circle rather than cropped into it. Teal bands, gold coins and paw prints wrap around him like the border of an old keepsake carpet.
A circle reads differently on the floor than a rectangle does. It softens the hard corners of a square room, gives a bedroom a clear focal point beside the bed, and fills the space in front of an armchair without fighting the furniture.
