Metagross anchors this Pokemon round rug, its steel-blue claws raised and its red eyes split by the white X across its face. A midnight sky of gold stars and burning comets surrounds it, and every ring of the artwork is laid out for the circle rather than cropped from a square.
A circle behaves differently on the floor. It softens the hard corners of a square room, tucks under a desk chair and works as a chair mat for a gaming setup. Nothing sticks out, and the pattern reads from every angle.
The Design: Comets and Gold Filigree
The art borrows the look of an old ornamental carpet, then fills it with Metagross lore. Antique gold scrollwork frames a deep navy field, a teal border wraps the rim, and four small orbs with red and white swirls sit at the compass points like jewels set into a crown. Orange meteors streak inward from every side, a nod to Meteor Mash.
