My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
Two psychic icons reach for each other across a starry night on this Mew and Mewtwo mouse pad, staged as a playful riff on one of the most famous Renaissance ceiling frescoes. On the right, Mewtwo floats in flowing robes among classical figures; on the left, pink Mew lounges on a ruined column beneath a full moon, and psychic sparks leap across the gap where their fingers nearly meet. As a Mew and Mewtwo desk mat, it pairs deep night-blue with gold ink on the runes and drapery.
It is for the fan who enjoys a clever joke as much as a powerful Pokémon, and for anyone who wants a dark desk that starts conversations. The moon and the spark give two bright focal points on either side of a keyboard.
Creator and creation: the Mew and Mewtwo mouse pad
The pairing works because of the story behind it. Mewtwo was engineered from Mew's genetic material, which makes the two Pokémon original and clone, and fans have long discussed what that means for Mewtwo's sense of self. Borrowing the pose of a painting about the moment of creation turns that relationship into a sly visual pun. The detailed illustration keeps the sculpted classical bodies, billowing cloth and ruined temple, while watercolor softens the night sky and gold ink lights the bolt and the carved runes on the plinth.
From mouse pad to Mew and Mewtwo desk mat
- TCG Mat (14″ × 24″): a card-game surface for battles at the table.
- M (11.8″ × 27.6″): narrow coverage for a keyboard and mouse.
- XXL (23.6″ × 35.4″) or XXXXL (23.6″ × 47.2″): wide enough that both figures and the gap between them stay visible around your gear.
- Chair Mats in S, M and L: keep a rolling chair from scuffing hard floors.
Construction and care
Glide comes from a micro-woven polyester cloth that works with optical and laser mice alike. A 3 mm natural rubber base keeps everything anchored. Precision-stitched edges stop fraying before it starts, and an HD fade-resistant print preserves the night-blues and golds of this Mew and Mewtwo desk mat.
A damp cloth is all most spots need. When you want a proper wash, use a gentle machine cycle with cold or lukewarm water and mild detergent, and leave the mat flat to air dry. Avoid bleach and the dryer, and do not iron over the print. Each piece is made to order: 1–3 business days of production, plus 2–5 business days for shipping.
More psychic favorites are waiting in our Pokémon mouse pads, while the anime desk mat and mouse pad range covers other series. To extend the theme beyond this Mew and Mewtwo mouse pad, browse Pokémon rugs.
