Product Description
This Lord of the Rings round rug reads like a page torn from an old atlas: pale sea down the west coast, green hills dotted with round doors, dark pine forest, a white-spired city and a volcano glowing red in the southeast. Everything is laid out for the circle, with a compass rose at the top and a ring of small emblems around the rim.
A circle suits a map. Your eye travels from the rim to the center and back again, which a rectangle rarely manages. Slide a desk chair across it and the rug works as a chair mat with a continent printed on it; set it beside a bed or in front of an armchair and it becomes a quiet landmark.
The Design: Parchment Atlas Border
The center is a full map. Sea fills the west in layered blues, with two small islands floating off the coast. Moving east, soft sage grassland gives way to dense pine forest, then a spine of snow-capped mountains running north to south. A thin river threads the middle. On the far side stands a pale city with a tall white tower, while the southeast turns to charred black peaks and a volcano with an orange-red glow.
Around the map, a cream band carries gold leaf vines and a ring of round and leaf-shaped medallions: a gold ring, a wizard's staff, a single leaf, a sailing ship, a campfire, pine trees, a traveler's pack, mountain peaks and compass stars. They read like a packing list for a long road, and that is what sets this piece apart from a character portrait. A deep bottle-green outer border with gold leaves closes the circle.
The palette stays disciplined: parchment cream, moss, bottle green and antique gold, with one hot patch of ember red. If the map pulls you in, the wider Lord of the Rings rugs has more scenes drawn for the same circle.

Cut in a true circle, the rug wraps its border cleanly, with no corners to clip the compass or the emblems. Its surface is a soft plush low-pile, gentle underfoot and easy to cross in socks. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. When the map picks up dust and everyday dirt, it is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle; air-dry it and it is ready again. The dye-sublimation print sets color into the fibers, which keeps the bottle green and antique gold deep rather than chalky. Use it as a round area rug in a study, a den or a teenager's room, where a map on the floor invites people to trace the route.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. Under a desk chair or beside a bed, 80 to 100 cm keeps the compass and the emblem ring in view, and 80 cm also works as a small accent rug by a door or shelf. In a reading nook or kids' corner, 120 to 140 cm lets the forests and mountains show properly. For the center of a seating area, go 160 to 180 cm and the whole coastline becomes a floor-sized atlas.
Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a good call for a busy desk chair or heavy daily use.
