Product Description
The Millennium Medallion is a Yu-Gi-Oh round rug that reads like an inlaid duel table: a whirlpool of amber and black at the heart, a sunburst of card backs around it, and golden pendants set at the compass points. Everything is laid out for the circle. Nothing gets cropped, and nothing floats off the edge.
A round shape does something a rectangle can't. It softens a boxy room, settles under a rolling desk chair with no corners to catch, and gives a reading nook or the space beside a bed a clear center. Slid beneath a desk, it doubles as a chair mat that looks more like a collector's piece than office gear.
The Design: Inlaid Duel Table
Think marquetry rather than comic panel. The center is a swirling vortex of burnt orange, chestnut and near-black, the kind of spiral you would expect on the back of a card, and it pulls the eye straight in. Around it, two rings of card backs fan out like petals, each with its own small dark whirl. Beyond that sits a cream ring where scrolling leaves in rust and tan wind between four pendants, each marked with its all-seeing eye, along with star medallions, tiny dice and fanned hands of cards.
