My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
Misato Katsuragi winks from the center of this Evangelion round rug, two fingers raised in a peace sign, her red jacket and silver cross necklace glowing against a plum-purple star medallion. The artwork is laid out for the circle, with a cream parchment field and a dark ornamental border running in even rings around her.
A circle softens the corners of a square room in a way no rectangle can. Slide it under a desk chair and it works as a chair mat for your late-night episode marathons, or set it by the sofa where Misato can greet everyone who walks in.
The Design: Ornate Carpet Medallion
This one borrows the look of an old Persian carpet and fills it with Misato's apartment life. She sits in a cusped, star-studded frame at the center, and around her the pattern repeats in tidy pairs: Pen Pen the penguin in brick-red cartouches, steaming curry bowls, silver cans, olive-green leaves and small orange honeycomb tiles. A blue sports coupe sits at the top and bottom of the ring. The outer border is plum with gold vines, tiny penguins and pale crosses, a nod to the necklace she wears.
The palette stays warm and a little dusty: plum, cream, rust red, olive and a pop of navy. It reads like a vintage heirloom until you spot the penguins. If you want to see how the rest of the series looks on the floor, browse the other Evangelion rugs.
Misato on the Floor
The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels pleasant underfoot and keeps the fine ornament crisp. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so the rug stays where you put it. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of sitting on top. When it needs freshening, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. It lies flat over low-pile carpet too. A round area rug like this suits a living room, a studio apartment or a den with a loud personality.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″). Choose 80 or 100 cm for the spot under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the medallion stays centered on Misato. At 120 or 140 cm the border and the penguin ring have room to breathe in a reading nook or a corner of a room. Go to 160 or 180 cm if you want it as the center of a seating area, with the sofa legs resting on the cream field. Two quality levels are offered: Standart Level is solid everyday quality, while Premium Level has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry, and the curry bowls and the plum border stay as rich as the day it arrived.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No, the rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate. Misato's peace sign stays right where you set it.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. Thick shag is the only floor where it will not sit neatly.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside, 120 to 140 cm for a nook, and 160 to 180 cm for a living room. The bigger the circle, the more of the border pattern you can see.
A Misato Statement
- Evangelion fans who want the series on the floor in a way that looks like decor, not a poster.
- A gaming room rug for anyone who wants a friendly face and a splash of rust red beside the setup.
- A small accent rug for a bedroom, with Pen Pen keeping watch from the border.
- A gift for a friend who knows every line of Misato's apartment scenes, especially if you browse anime rugs to find more of their favorites.
Setting up a desk? Add an Evangelion mouse pad to match and the plum and cream tones carry from floor to tabletop.
