My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
Mugen mid-leap, one palm braced on the ground and a curved blade raised overhead, owns the center of this Samurai Champloo round rug. The artwork is built for the circle: a cream, cloud-edged medallion holds the swordsman, and rings of vinyl records, sunflowers, sailing ships and cresting waves wrap around him.
A circle softens a room full of right angles. Slide it under a desk chair and it works as a chair mat with something worth looking down at, or set it beside a bed or in front of an armchair and it becomes a small island of color. Hard floors suddenly feel finished.
The Design: Vinyl Meets Medallion
The layout borrows the bones of a classic Persian carpet, with a central medallion, framed corner panels and a scrolling border, then fills every slot with the show's own mix of samurai-era Japan and hip-hop. Large vinyl records in ornate frames sit at four points, while a string of smaller discs runs around the outer ring. Four little ships ride the diagonals, two Great Wave panels face each other left and right, and a pair of wooden geta sandals mirror one another between them. Sunflowers anchor the top and bottom.
Mugen himself is drawn with confident ink lines and rough, brush-like shading. He has wild dark hair, a red open jacket, navy shorts, striped wraps on his wrists and ankle, and a lopsided grin. Red slashes spiral out behind him like a gust of wind. The palette is brick red, deep indigo, aged-paper cream and mustard gold, a warm, slightly weathered mix that looks old on purpose. Fans who want a different scene can browse other Samurai Champloo rugs in the same collection.
Mugen on the Floor
The surface is a soft plush low pile, gentle underfoot and flat enough to sit tidily in any room. The non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so the rug stays where you put it. Colors come from a dye-sublimation print, which sets them into the fibers instead of leaving a layer on top. It is also machine washable, and that matters for a gaming room rug that has to put up with snacks, socks and spinning chairs.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) up to 180 cm (70.9″). Choose 80 or 100 cm for under a desk chair or beside a bed, where Mugen and the central medallion stay front and center. The 120 and 140 cm sizes suit a reading nook, a kids' corner or a gaming setup. Go to 160 or 180 cm to anchor a seating area, where the outer rings of records and waves have room to breathe. From 140 cm up, it reads as a round area rug in its own right. The smallest sizes make a punchy accent rug by a bed or a doorway.
Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle, then air-dry it.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No. The rubber backing grips hard floors, so Mugen stays mid-leap instead of sliding off across the room.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes. It lies flat over low-pile carpet, which makes it a handy way to mark out a gaming spot in a carpeted room.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside and 120 to 140 cm for a nook. For a full seating area, go 160 to 180 cm so the whole medallion and its ring of records show around the furniture.
