Ninja Turtles Medallion Round Rug - TMNT Chair Mat

Four brothers in orange, blue, red and purple masks strike their poses in the middle of a saffron-yellow medallion, and this TMNT round rug wraps them in carved-looking green and gold scrollwork. Pizza slices, sewer covers and skateboards march around the rim. The whole artwork is laid out for the circle, with the heroes dead center and the ornament radiating outward to the edge.

A circle softens the hard corners of a square room. Slide it under a desk and it works as a chair mat that looks like a showpiece instead of a plain utility pad. It also fills a reading nook, lands beside a bed, or sits in front of an armchair where a rectangle would feel stiff.

The Design: Ornate Sewer Medallion

The idea here is a classic ornamental carpet rebuilt out of turtle lore. Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello stand shoulder to shoulder in the classic cartoon style, each with his own gear: a pair of swords for the blue mask, twin sai for red, nunchaku for orange and a long bo staff for purple. Around them a lobed yellow cartouche holds tiny red and green flourishes, stars and more pizza.

Four colored corner panels carry the brothers' signatures. Blue holds crossed blades at the top, red holds crossed sai at the bottom, orange shows the nunchaku on the left and purple shows the staff on the right. The outer ring is deep forest green with golden vines, and it is dotted with brown shell patterns, gray manhole covers, green skateboards, shuriken stars and cheese-yellow pizza slices. Where most catalog pieces go for a single bold pose, this one rewards a slow look, because new details keep turning up the closer you get.

Ninja Turtles on the Floor

The cut is perfectly circular, so the border reads as a clean frame no matter which way the room is arranged. The surface is soft plush low-pile, gentle underfoot and easy to vacuum. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate, so the medallion stays put when a chair rolls over the edge.

This rug is machine washable, which matters for a design that invites pizza nights and snack-fueled game sessions. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, so the greens, yellows and reds stay vivid instead of sitting on top like a coating. It makes a lively gaming room rug, and it holds its own in a living space too.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5") to 180 cm (70.9"). Choose 80 or 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the four heroes stay readable at a glance. Pick 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a kids' corner, and go to 160 or 180 cm when you want the medallion to anchor a seating area.

Two quality levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for regular use. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a good call for high-traffic spots or a rug that will see daily chair wheels.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the pizza slices and turtle masks keep their color.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No, the rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate. Even under a rolling desk chair, the ring of skateboards and manhole covers stays right where you laid it.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes. The low pile lies flat over low-pile carpet, so the medallion keeps its round shape without bunching at the edges.

Which size should I choose?

For a single desk or bedside, 80 to 100 cm is plenty. If you want the whole green border visible around a sofa or play area, step up to 160 or 180 cm.
