My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
A woman in a blush-pink kimono lifts a bamboo flute to her lips, and this Vagabond round rug lays the whole scene out for the circle. Otsu stands at the heart of a cusped cream frame while sakura petals drift past in pink ribbons of wind. Four glowing lanterns mark the compass points around her.
On the floor, a circle works differently from a rectangle. It softens the corners of a room and gives one figure a natural stage. Slide it under a desk chair and it acts as a chair mat with a story; set it beside a bed and it is the first thing your feet meet in the morning.
The Design: Quiet Music, Rich Ornament
Most Vagabond art leans on motion and heavy ink. This piece goes the other way. It reads like a watercolor-and-ink study on aged paper, with fine linework and soft color washes, then wraps that calm portrait in the dense ornament you would expect from a woven carpet.
The palette stays warm and low-contrast: blush pink, deep plum, antique gold, sage green and a creamy parchment ground. White doves sit in plum cartouches on the diagonals. Gold crescent moons and eight-point stars float between pine boughs and cherry branches, while slim bamboo stalks run through the pink border like a quiet echo of the flute itself. Fans who want the gentler side of the story will find it here, and the shop's other Vagabond rugs cover darker, louder moods.
Otsu on the Floor
Cut as a true circle, the piece closes its cherry-blossom border cleanly all the way around. Its surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels gentle under bare feet. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. Printing is dye-sublimation, so the pinks and golds are set into the fibers.
Care is easy, because the rug is machine washable: a gentle cold cycle and air-drying keep the colors clear. As a bedroom rug it suits the soft palette especially well. Used as a round area rug, it anchors a reading corner without crowding it.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) up to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes fit under a desk chair or beside a bed. At 120 or 140 cm the portrait has room to breathe in a reading nook or a small corner. Go to 160 or 180 cm when the rug should be the center of a seating area. The smaller sizes also pass as an accent rug by a dresser or doorway.
Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a good choice for busy floors.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it; the print is set into the fibers, so the blush pinks and gold linework stay put through regular care.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so Otsu and her ring of lanterns stay where you put them.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. That makes it easy to define a reading spot or a desk area in a carpeted room.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 100 cm for a desk or bedside, where the central portrait stays easy to read. Choose 140 cm or larger if you want the doves and lanterns to show as a full ring around her.
