My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
A luminous medallion glows against deep black on this black Persian rug mouse pad, its delicate floral details picked out in warm gold, cream and subtle green. Ordered big, it becomes a black Persian rug desk mat with a dramatic, after-dark mood that pairs naturally with black keyboards and dimly lit rooms.
Night owls, late-shift coders and gamers with all-black gear will appreciate how calm it looks under a desk lamp. It also lends a dark academia study or a moody home office a classic, collected feel.
Midnight elegance on a black Persian rug mouse pad
Dark-ground carpets have always had a special drama, because every lighter motif seems to float forward from the background. In this design, the medallion at the heart and the floral tracery around it catch the eye like gold thread by candlelight, while cream and green details add quiet depth. A black ground also flatters metallic tones, letting the gold look richer than it would on a pale field. Together, these qualities make the black Persian rug mouse pad a fitting centerpiece for a sleek, modern setup with an old-world soul.
Black Persian rug desk mat sizes
- S (11.8″ × 15.7″): the glowing center, scaled to sit under one mouse.
- TCG Mat (14″ × 24″): a medium canvas for card nights or a laptop corner.
- XXL (23.6″ × 35.4″): a deep black Persian rug desk mat for keyboard, mouse and headset stand.
- XXXXL (23.6″ × 47.2″): edge-to-edge midnight for long, wide desktops.
Quality beneath the gold
Gold and cream motifs are printed onto micro-woven polyester cloth, and its fine weave lets optical and laser sensors track with smooth, even control. Below sits a 3 mm natural rubber backing that clings to the desk instead of sliding. Precise anti-fray stitching outlines the midnight border, while a fade-resistant HD print keeps the black deep and the gold bright.
Dust or a fingerprint on the dark field? Swipe it away with a lightly dampened cloth. The whole mat can take a spin on the machine's gentlest setting, provided the water is cold or lukewarm and the detergent mild; then let it rest flat in the air until fully dry. Bleach is a no, the tumble dryer is a no, and ironing across the gold motifs is a no as well. We craft every order individually, which takes 1–3 business days, and the parcel then needs 2–5 business days to reach you.
Explore lighter grounds and other carpet traditions in our rug pattern mouse pads, or broaden the search with decorative desk mats and mouse pads in many styles. For a desk that looks best after sunset, this black Persian rug mouse pad sets the tone.
