This Pokemon round rug turns the Poke Ball into ornamental art: one large red-and-white ball glows at the center of a gold sunburst, and eight more sit in cream cartouches around it. The artwork is laid out for the circle, with bands of deep teal, antique gold and poppy red running all the way to the edge.
A round shape suits a medallion like this one. Under a desk chair the center ball stays in view, and beside a bed or in front of an armchair the rings soften the straight lines of the room. Nothing gets cropped.
The Design: Poke Balls in Gold Filigree
Instead of drawing characters, the artist treated the Poke Ball like a jewel. Around the big center ball runs a ring of eight smaller ones: the Master Ball with its pink dome and white M, the blue-and-red Great Ball, the black-and-yellow Ultra Ball and the pink Love Ball with its tiny heart, plus quieter variants in white, black and forest green.
