My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
Porco Rosso stands center stage in this Studio Ghibli round rug, hands in the pockets of his tan trench coat, fedora tipped low over round dark glasses. Behind him spread the wings of his red seaplane, its propeller turning against a deep-blue medallion of clouds, gulls and curling waves. The whole composition is laid out for the circle, so nothing gets clipped at the edge.
A circle behaves differently on the floor than a rectangle. It softens the hard corners of a room, tucks neatly under a desk chair and gives a reading corner a clear center. This one suits a desk, a favorite armchair or the open floor beside a bed.
The Design: Tilework Skies and Roses
Instead of a movie-poster pose, the artwork borrows the look of glazed tile and old carpet ornament. Climbing rose vines wind across a cream field, and small blue cartouches around the center each hold one souvenir from the story: a worn fedora, a glass of red wine, a gramophone horn, a pair of sunglasses, a tiny red seaplane. Waves roll through the gaps between them. Because the tale is told in these little panels, you keep finding new details the longer you look.
The palette stays warm and sea-faded: cream, deep cobalt, bottle green and the bright red of a flying boat. A dark green border carries wooden propellers, white blossoms and blue wave scrolls, finished with a thin checkered line. If one design leaves you wanting a whole shelf of sky and sea, more Studio Ghibli rugs sit together in one collection, each with its own mood.
Porco Rosso on the Floor
The rug is cut in a true circle with a soft plush low-pile surface that feels good underfoot. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so it stays where you put it. It is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers instead of sitting on top, which keeps the reds and blues clear. As a chair mat, it gives a desk a defined spot under the seat. In a bedroom it works as a quiet bedroom rug with a story built into it.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) up to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes fit under a desk chair or beside a bed. Choose 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a kids' corner. At 160 or 180 cm the piece works as a round area rug that anchors a seating area, and the small panels around the medallion read best at that scale. Even at 80 cm, the pilot himself stays clear.
Two levels are offered. Standart is solid everyday quality. Premium has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the printed roses and waves keep their color.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No, the rubber backing grips hardwood, tile and laminate. Porco stays planted even when a chair glides across him.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet, which makes a handy base for a desk area or a reading spot.
Which size should I choose?
Go with 80 or 100 cm for a desk or bedside, 120 to 140 cm for a nook, and 160 to 180 cm when you want the whole medallion to take center stage in a living room.
