Product Description
A big orange pumpkin sits at the heart of this Botanical round rug, with a cream pumpkin and a sage-green one leaning in beside it and a few acorns tucked at their feet. Around that center the harvest circles outward: striped gourds, red apples, golden wheat sheaves, berry sprigs and maple leaves in every shade of rust. The whole scene is laid out for the circle, so nothing gets cut off at the edge.
A circle behaves differently on a floor than a rectangle does. It softens the hard corners of a square room, settles under a round breakfast table with no edges to trip over, and gives an entryway a warm place to land. Autumn is the obvious season, but the cream plaid ground keeps the piece friendly well past November.
The Design: Harvest Wreath on Plaid
Picture a painted autumn table setting rather than a photo of a pumpkin patch. Soft watercolor texture runs through the blush and peach plaid behind everything, which gives the whole field a gentle, worn-in warmth. The palette is grounded: burnt orange, deep cranberry, mustard gold, olive green and plenty of creamy white.
