A songbird rests on a weathered scholar's rock among bamboo and pink peonies in the central roundel of this sage green chinoiserie mahjong mat, the whole vignette ringed by a jade Greek-key band. Soft celadon fills the field behind it. Gold fretwork and shou medallions frame the corners like carved lattice.
