Product Description
This Pokemon round rug shows Salamence soaring front and center, its crimson wings spread wide against a sky of swirling clouds and snow-capped blue peaks. The artwork is laid out for the circle, with the dragon at the hub and every ring of ornament turning around it.
A circle behaves differently from a rectangle on the floor. It softens the corners of a square room and gives a gaming corner a clear center. Under a desk it doubles as a chair mat with a dragon waiting beneath your feet, and beside a bed it greets you first thing in the morning.
The Design: Dragon Inside a Medallion
Instead of a plain sky backdrop, the artist built this piece like an illuminated tile. A cobalt oval filled with curling clouds and tiny gold stars holds Salamence, with its spiked head crest, open mouth and pale cream belly, and gilded scrollwork winds around that oval like a vine. Beyond it, a cream ring carries teal scale shapes, red wing silhouettes and four jeweled cartouches, each with a small red-and-blue swirl. The outer border is deep teal, scattered with gold stars and white cloud curls. Every detail repeats. The palette stays disciplined: cobalt, crimson, cream and gold, with the teal pulling it all together.
