Product Description
This Gundam round rug puts Sazabi, the crimson mobile suit from Char's Counterattack, in the middle of a drifting asteroid field, shield on one arm and long-barreled gear in the other. The artwork is laid out for the circle: the suit fills a scalloped window at the center, and a ring of gold filigree, Zaku helmets and Neo Zeon crests wraps around it. Red burns hard against deep navy.
A circle changes how a room reads. Under a desk chair it works as a chair mat with a clear center point, so the helmets and the gold border stay visible around the seat. Beside a bed or in front of a shelf of model kits, it gives the floor a single strong focal point instead of another rectangle.
The Design: Crimson and Gold Ornament
Sazabi is drawn in sharp anime cel shading, every armor plate edged in yellow trim, with a glowing pink visor catching the eye first. Behind it, a starfield is cut by red streaks of light and gray rock tumbles in the dark. Nothing here is soft or pastel.
The frame is where this piece gets its personality. It borrows the language of ornate woven carpets, with gold scrollwork, small red blossoms, diamond bands and four-pointed stars, then swaps the traditional motifs for Zaku heads, thruster pods, heat axes and comet trails.
