A black cat rides a great white shark on this Shark Riding Cat MTG playmat, claws hooked into its back as the shark bursts out of the ocean, jaws wide open. Spray flies everywhere. The cat looks completely calm about the whole thing.
On the table, bright summer blue fills the top half, broken by puffy white clouds. Deep navy waves roll across the bottom. The shark and cat rise from the center, giving the mat a strong focal point while leaving plenty of sky and sea for your cards.
The Art: Who Is Riding Whom
Crisp watercolor gives the sky and ocean a clean, fresh look. Gold linework traces every cloud, wave crest and the shark's gills, so the whole scene shimmers slightly. The shark is drawn with real menace, all teeth and red mouth, which makes the cat's casual pose even funnier. It is classic monster-movie energy flipped on its head.
