This Naruto round rug puts Shikamaru Nara in the center of a scalloped medallion, chin resting on his hand, a shogi board open in front of him and the Hokage cliffs hazy behind a pine branch. Everything around him is laid out for the circle, with rings of deer panels, smoke ribbons and crimson scrollwork that close back on themselves at the edge.
A circle suits a character who spends his days staring at clouds. Tucked under a desk chair it frames the seat like a small stage, and in a reading corner it gives a slouching pose somewhere to land. Square rooms get softer corners too.
The Design: Konoha Carpet Medallion
Instead of a flat poster crop, the artwork borrows the structure of an antique Persian carpet and fills it with Shikamaru's world. The central medallion is ringed with cream blossoms and trimmed in gold, while a deep crimson border of curling branches and cloud swirls frames the whole piece. Four deer rest in green arched panels, a quiet nod to the Nara clan's herd. Silver lighters trail thin wisps of smoke, and black smoke ribbons carry dark silhouettes that echo his shadow technique.
