Shinobu stands at the center of this Demon Slayer round rug, one hand lifted as a lilac butterfly lands near her fingertips and wisteria hangs in heavy clusters on every side. The artwork is laid out for the circle, with a lavender border of butterfly wings wrapped around a cream field so the whole scene turns around her like a medallion.
A round shape softens a square room in a way a rectangle never does. Slide it beneath a study desk and it works as a chair mat that frames your seat with wings. Beside a bed it catches the first step of the morning, and in front of an armchair it marks out a small, quiet corner.
The Design: Wisteria and Wings
Think of a garden painted as an ornamental panel. Shinobu wears her butterfly-wing haori, its hem fading from soft pink into mint with spotted black-and-white edges, and the cream ground behind her is thick with purple wisteria, sage-green vines and drifting petals. Four butterflies hover around her. Cartouches placed around the field hold a potion bottle stamped with a butterfly, a slim blade in a lilac frame, and a crescent moon, all tucked between the vines.
