Siegmeyer Bonfire Round Rug - Dark Souls Chair Mat

A round-bodied knight in riveted plate raises a wooden mug beside a crackling bonfire, and a ring of onions, helms and candlelit flasks closes in around him. This Dark Souls round rug is laid out for the circle, with the arched ruin at the center and every border band curving around it.

Round shapes read differently on the floor. They soften square corners, tuck neatly under a desk chair and give a gaming corner a clear center of gravity, much like a bonfire does in a dark hall.

The Design: Manuscript Border Warmth

The artwork borrows the look of a medieval illuminated page. Gold scrollwork frames the knight's niche, ivy climbs the broken columns, and tiny eight-point stars glint in the dark behind him. Outside that niche, the pattern repeats in quatrefoil cartouches: small bonfires, swords standing upright, round shields, clay mugs, wicker-wrapped flasks and plump onions with leafy tops. Nothing feels random. Each motif sits in its own gold-outlined frame, so the eye keeps traveling around the ring.

The palette is what sets this piece apart. Charcoal-navy ground, ember orange from the flames, olive and sage leaves, parchment cream on the armor and onions, and a warm gold that ties it all together. It is cozy rather than grim, a quiet moment of rest instead of a boss fight. Fans of the jolly onion knight will spot his rounded helm in the corner panels too. If one design is not enough, the wider Dark Souls rug range has more to explore.

Siegmeyer on the Floor

The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels warm underfoot, and the dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, so the fine linework of the armor and ivy stays crisp. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. When the fabric needs a refresh, this rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then left to air-dry.

Slide it under a desk chair and it doubles as a chair mat with a pattern worth looking down at. Beside a bed or in front of an armchair it gives the room a small pool of firelight. It lies flat over low-pile carpet as well.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″). The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit the space under a desk chair or beside a bed, and they work well as an accent rug. The 120 and 140 cm sizes fill a reading nook or a game corner. At 160 and 180 cm the design becomes a proper round area rug and can anchor a seating area, with the bonfire sitting right in the middle.

Two quality levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for spots with heavier foot traffic.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the printed colors stay put because they are set into the fibers.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so the knight stays planted by his bonfire even when a chair rolls across the edge.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. The circular border keeps its clean outline there too.

Which size should I choose?

Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside, 120 to 140 cm for a nook, and 160 to 180 cm if the mandala-like ring of onions and helms should be seen in full from across the room.
