Sif Guarding Round Rug - Dark Souls Chair Mat

A great gray wolf stands square to the viewer with a long blade clamped in its jaws, a pale full moon rising behind its shoulders. This Dark Souls round rug is laid out for the circle: the forest scene sits in a central medallion, and a gold-trimmed ring of wolf heads, crescent moons, lilies and upright blades wraps around it. Sif, the guardian of a fallen knight's grave, holds his ground in navy, forest green and old gold.

Circles soften a room full of right angles. Under a desk the shape works as a chair mat, with the wolf centered in front of you and the border ring framing the floor around your feet. Beside a bed or in front of an armchair, it reads like a small ceremonial seal laid on the floor.

The Design: Moonlit Wolf Medallion

The art borrows the look of an illuminated manuscript. At the center, the wolf stands on mossy stone in a pine forest, with a ruined arch on one side, a crumbling tower on the other and a second blade planted upright in the rubble behind him. The sky is deep blue and scattered with four-point stars, while the moon glows a soft cream. Around that scene runs a ring of twelve cartouches: wolf-head portraits on teal, tiny moonlit clearings with a single standing blade, and crescent moons set among stars. White lilies and gold scrollwork fill the gaps between them. An outer border of acanthus leaves carries paw-print roundels around the rim.

Most Dark Souls art leans dark and ashen. This piece is moonlit and ornamental, closer to a heraldic plate than a boss screen, so it sits easily in a room that is not all black and gray. Fans who want more of the series can browse more Dark Souls rugs in the same collection.

Sif on the Floor

The surface is a soft plush low-pile, thick enough to feel good under bare feet and low enough to stay flat under a chair. Cut as a true circle, the rug keeps its border ring intact at every size. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as hardwood, tile and laminate. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of sitting on top, so the gold and the deep blues stay put. Care is simple, because the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. As a gaming room rug, it gives a desk setup a focal point without shouting. Pair it with a matching Dark Souls mouse pad and the desk and the floor tell the same story.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″). The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit the space under a desk chair or beside a bed, and the 80 cm works as a small accent rug. Reading nooks and console corners suit 120 and 140 cm, which show most of the border. At 160 and 180 cm the wolf becomes the center of a seating area, and the piece reads as a true round area rug.

Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for most rooms. Premium Level has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a smart pick for a busy desk spot.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Run it on a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry; the dye-sublimation print keeps its deep blues and gold.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips hardwood, tile and laminate, so the wolf stays put when you shift your chair.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. Thick shag is a poor match, since the circle's edge needs a fairly even base.

Which size should I choose?

For a desk, 100 or 120 cm keeps the central scene under your chair with the border still visible. Go bigger if you want the moon and the wolf to anchor a whole corner.
