My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
Spike aims a finger-gun straight at you on this Spike Spiegel ember mouse pad, red eyes glinting through a storm of black ink and red fire that is devouring a ruined city behind him. Stretched into a Spike Spiegel ember desk mat, the slashing sumi-e brushwork and the Japanese script running down the sides frame your keyboard like a scroll.
It is aimed at Cowboy Bebop fans who prefer moody, hand-painted interpretations over clean screenshots. Black-and-red setups, pale keyboards that pop against dark ink, and anyone who loves traditional brush art will all get along with it.
Ink, ash and fire: a Spike Spiegel ember mouse pad
Spike is the laid-back bounty hunter whose easy grin hides a past that keeps catching up with him, and that mix of cool and danger is what makes him one of anime's most quoted leads. Rendering him in ink-wash style suits the character surprisingly well. Heavy black strokes give weight to the burning ruins, while flashes of red flare through the smoke like embers, pulling your eye from his stare to the pointing hand and out across the fire. The playful gesture against a scene of destruction says a lot about who he is.
Choose your Spike Spiegel ember desk mat size
- S (30×40 cm): a mouse pad that keeps Spike's gesture front and center.
- M (30×70 cm): a slim runner for keyboard and mouse on a shallow desk.
- XXL (60×90 cm): room for the calligraphy to sit clear of your hands.
- L Chair Mat (120×180 cm): wide coverage for a chair that rolls a lot.
How it is put together
Micro-woven polyester cloth on top keeps cursor movement clean and drag-free for optical and laser mice. Natural rubber, 3 mm thick, grips from below. Precision-stitched edges keep threads from unraveling, and the fade-resistant HD print holds the deep blacks of your Spike Spiegel ember mouse pad without dulling.
Wipe minor smudges off with a damp cloth as they happen. Heavier cleaning can go through a gentle wash, cold or lukewarm, with mild detergent; afterward, spread the mat flat so it air dries evenly. Leave out bleach and dryer heat, and keep any iron away from Spike's portrait. Every order is made to order, with 1–3 business days for production and 2–5 business days for shipping.
