Product Description
Squirtle sits at the heart of this Pokemon round rug, caught mid-splash with a ribbon of curling water rising from his open mouth. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a pale blue medallion in the center, rings of cream and gold scrollwork around it, and a deep teal border that closes the edge like the rim of a porcelain plate.
A circle settles into a room differently than a rectangle does. It softens the hard corners of a desk nook, sits under a rolling chair as a chair mat, and gives a bedside spot its own small pool of color. Squirtle's calm blue palette suits every one of those places.
The Design: Porcelain Tile Tidewater
Instead of a plain action poster, this piece borrows the look of painted ceramic tile. Teal spiral shells and teardrop gems repeat around the ring, and gold vines wind between them on a warm cream ground. Eight small portraits sit around the middle: Blastoise at the top, bottom, left and right, with Wartortle in the corners between them. Pairs of dark sunglasses wink at the Squirtle Squad. Look closely and the water in the center echoes the same swirl as the scrollwork, so the whole rug reads as one slow wave moving outward.
