Product Description
A black crown sits inside an orange disc of rippled water, and eight surfboards fan out from it like petals. This Hypebeast round rug is drawn for the circle itself: a wavy blue border wraps the edge, and every palm, shell and starfish repeats around the center so the pattern never feels cropped.
Circles do something squares cannot. They soften a room full of right angles, and they give a desk setup, a bedside or a reading corner a clear middle. Under a desk chair this works as a chair mat, with the crown peeking out between the chair legs. Beside a bed it reads as a small island of sand-colored calm.
The Design: Surf Crest Mandala
Think of a vintage surf-shop poster redrawn as a compass rose. The ground is warm cream with a faint aged-paper grain, and the ink is limited to faded ocean blue, sage green, sun orange and black. Four sage boards carry yin-yang discs. Two orange boards hold black hibiscus flowers. The two cream boards, top and bottom, each frame a palm silhouette between blue stripes. Curling waves, scallop shells, orange starfish and tiny palm trees fill every gap between them.

The round cut follows the artwork edge to edge, so the wave border lands exactly on the rim. The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels good underfoot and stays flat. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. Dye-sublimation printing sets the colors into the fibers, which is why the sage and orange stay even instead of sitting on top like paint. Cleaning is easy because the rug is machine washable. As a bedroom rug, the cream center keeps the space bright while the blue ring adds depth.

Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm (39.4″), 120 cm (47.2″), 140 cm (55.1″), 160 cm (63″) and 180 cm (70.9″). Pick 80 or 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the crown stays in view. The 120 and 140 cm sizes suit a reading nook or the corner of a teen's room, and they work well as an accent rug.
