Sylvanas Windrunner reaches toward you with one gauntleted hand while her dark, spiked bow hangs ready in the other, on this Sylvanas MTG playmat. Red eyes burn under her hood. Behind her, a crimson vortex tears open the sky over a gothic city, and ghostly red skulls drift through the smoke.
Charcoal, plum and deep red carry the whole design, with her pale skin and silver hair the lightest notes in the frame. The outstretched hand on the left draws you in, and the vortex on the right balances it out. Her glowing eyes are what everyone notices first.
The Art: Banshee Queen Vortex
Dark watercolor washes build the storm, then gold linework traces her armor, bow and cloak so the figure stands out against the smoke. Arrows streak across the upper left. The bow itself is a jagged, almost living shape, painted in black with red highlights. It's a moody, cinematic piece that fits the Forsaken's queen at her most dangerous.
