Totodile kicks up a splash in a lily pond, arms flung wide and jaws open in a happy grin, while golden dragonflies dart overhead and pink water lilies bloom among tall reeds. This Pokemon poster captures the Johto water starter at its most joyful, painted in bright blue, reed green and lotus pink on aged paper with a red cartouche at the upper right. It is made to order.

The Artwork: Summer in the Lily Pond
The sky is a clean wash of summer blue with small white clouds outlined in ink. Tall reeds rise on both sides, drawn in long sweeping strokes. Pink water lilies with golden centres float on broad green pads. The splash around Totodile is painted in white and teal with flicked droplets, and ripples circle out across the water. Four dragonflies are painted in gold, their wings catching the light. With the Chikorita and Cyndaquil prints in this collection, this completes the Johto starter trio.
