Trevenant looms out of a misty green forest with its branch arms raised high, a carved jack-o'-lantern glowing on its head and red eyes burning beneath. This Pokemon poster sets the Elder Tree Pokémon among grinning pumpkins and twisted roots in a Japanese ink-and-watercolor style on aged paper, with a red title cartouche and seal stamps, and it is printed to order. Pale blue fog curls between the trunks.
Halloween fans will want it up every October, but the deep forest greens keep it from feeling purely seasonal. Hung in a den or a shelf-lined corner, it works as game room wall art with a storybook spookiness rather than real menace.
The Artwork: Haunted Grove in Ink
Gnarled oaks arch overhead in heavy black brushwork, while the background dissolves into layers of green wash so the creature stands out in warm brown bark tones. Orange is saved for the pumpkins alone: one large lantern in the lower right, a few smaller ones scattered into the fog, each lit from inside.
