A red Evangelion unit stands braced at the center of this Evangelion round rug, its two-pronged lance planted beside it, all set inside a medallion you would expect on a Persian carpet. The artwork is laid out for the circle: an orange octagonal halo behind the figure, blue waves breaking at its feet, and a ring of cartouches repeating toward the edge.
A circle suits this piece because the pattern has no corners to lose. It softens a square room, fills the gap beside a bed, and sits neatly in front of an armchair. Slide it under a desk and it works as a chair mat that does not look like office gear.
The Design: Persian Carpet Meets Eva
