The story behind a marble Medusa mouse pad
Medusa comes from Greek myth, where a single glance from her could turn onlookers to stone, and her face was later carved onto armor, coins and temple walls as a protective charm. The meander, or Greek key, is just as old and is often read as a symbol of continuity. Setting both on pale marble links the motif back to the stone carvings where it first appeared, so the artwork feels classical first and fashionable second.
