Gundam Mouse Pads

Frequently Asked Questions

There are several Gundam designs available, created from our own original artwork and fan-favorite motifs. Each Gundam mouse pad is made with sublimation printing, so the colors stay scratch-resistant and lightfast and the design will not peel or fade. Browse the variants above to see every Gundam design we currently offer.

The Gundam mouse pads come in everything from a standard size up to an XXL desk mat. The larger sizes cover your keyboard and mouse together and give the Gundam design plenty of room to stand out. Whatever your desk or setup looks like, there is a Gundam size that fits.

Yes. The Gundam mouse pads have a smooth surface with even glide resistance that delivers accurate tracking at any DPI or sensor sensitivity you play at. Whether you make fast flicks or fine micro-adjustments, your Gundam pad gives consistent performance with any mouse.

Your Gundam mouse pad is easy to care for: just wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove dust and skin oils. The non-slip rubber base and neatly stitched edges keep your Gundam pad in shape for a long time and stop it from sliding around on the desk.

Absolutely. If you want to make your Gundam design even more personal, take a look at our custom mouse pads. There you can upload your own artwork and create a one-of-a-kind Gundam mouse pad exactly the way you like it.

Delivery time is made up of the production time plus shipping, because every Gundam mouse pad is printed individually on demand. Once your Gundam pad is printed it is handed over for shipping, and you receive a tracking number by email.

About This Collection

Gundam Mouse Pads

A Gundam mouse pad turns your desk into a hangar, with 23 original fan-inspired designs that cover the RX-78-2, the Unicorn and Banshee, Strike Freedom, Exia, Epyon and a range of mecha battle scenes. Each pad is made to order in sizes from a small 11.8 x 15.7 in mouse pad to a 23.6 x 47.2 in desk mat, and every design is also available as a chair mat for the floor under your desk.

The build never changes from one design to the next: a smooth micro-woven cloth surface, precision-stitched edges that resist fraying and a non-slip natural rubber base that holds the mat in place. Below you will find every design grouped by mobile suit and theme, followed by a size guide, notes on the surface, care tips and answers to common questions.

Gundam Mouse Pad Designs in the Collection

Since the first Mobile Suit Gundam series in 1979, the franchise has grown into several timelines, each with its own machines. The collection reflects that range. Some designs focus on one famous mobile suit, two are technical blueprints, and many are wide battle scenes that make the most of a long desk mat.

RX-78-2 and Nu Gundam: The Universal Century Classics

The RX-78-2 is the machine that started it all, the white, blue and red mobile suit from the original series. RX-78-2 Blood Moon sets it against a red moon, a dramatic take on a familiar silhouette. The Nu Gundam Starfall design features the later Universal Century suit, and its starfall theme suits a dark, space-inspired desk.

For a more technical look, RX-78-2 Gundam Blueprint presents the original mobile suit as a mechanical drawing. Blueprint artwork has a clean, engineered feel that fits an office or a workshop desk as well as a gaming setup.

Unicorn and Banshee Designs

The RX-0 Unicorn and its black sister unit, the Banshee, are among the most requested machines in the franchise, and this group has four designs. Unicorn Gundam Green Awakening, as the title hints, centers on the glowing green transformation fans know from the series. Gundam Unicorn Banshee and Gundam Banshee RX-0 are two separate Banshee designs, so compare the images to find the pose you like best. Gundam Unicorn Blueprint is the second blueprint design in the collection, a natural partner to the RX-78-2 version if you want a matching pair for two desks.

Strike Freedom, Exia, Epyon and Other Timelines

Fans of the alternate timelines have plenty of choice. Strike Freedom appears twice: Strike Freedom Golden Halo, as the name suggests, plays with gold tones, while Strike Freedom Crimson Requiem takes the suit in a darker, red direction. Gundam Exia Moonlit Slash shows the sword-focused Gundam 00 machine under moonlight, and Gundam 00 Pilots shifts the focus from the suits to the people inside them.

Epyon fans get two designs as well. Gundam Epyon Molten Dragon and Gundam Epyon Plasma Wings both play with the dark red mobile suit's dragon-like look and wide wings. These are some of the boldest designs in the collection and look striking on an XXL mat under a backlit keyboard.

Mecha Battle Scenes

The remaining designs are cinematic battle scenes that read especially well on wide mats. Gundam Desert Dawn and Gundam Sunset Wings use warm sunrise and sunset settings, while Gundam Inferno Strike leans into fire. Gundam Space Duel and Gundam Cosmic Battle move the fight into space, and Gundam City Battle and Gundam Neon Skyline bring it into a city, the latter with a neon look that suits a gaming room.

Gundam Mecha Battle is a title shared by two different artworks, so open each product to see which version you prefer. Gundam Mecha Strike completes the set. Because these scenes are composed for width, choose XL or larger if you want to see the whole picture rather than a crop. If you like giant robots from a darker angle, also look at our Neon Genesis Evangelion mouse pads, which bring a very different mecha series to the desk.

Gundam Mouse Pad Sizes

All 23 designs come in eleven sizes, eight for the desk and three chair mats.

Size Inches cm Best for
S 11.8 x 15.7 in 30 x 40 cm Mouse only, travel, laptop bags
TCG Mat 14 x 24 in 35.5 x 61 cm Card games, compact setups
M 11.8 x 27.6 in 30 x 70 cm Mouse plus a small keyboard
L 11.8 x 31.5 in 30 x 80 cm Small keyboard with extra mouse room
XL 15.7 x 35.4 in 40 x 90 cm Full keyboard and mouse
XXL 23.6 x 35.4 in 60 x 90 cm Full keyboard and mouse with wrist room
XXXL 19.7 x 39.4 in 50 x 100 cm Whole-desk coverage on wide desks
XXXXL 23.6 x 47.2 in 60 x 120 cm Whole-desk coverage on large desks
Chair Mat S 31.5 x 47.2 in 80 x 120 cm Under a desk chair on hard floors
Chair Mat M 39.4 x 59.1 in 100 x 150 cm Desk chair with more rolling room
Chair Mat L 47.2 x 70.9 in 120 x 180 cm Large desk areas and corner desks
  • S: a mouse-only pad. It is light enough to pack in a laptop bag for travel or LAN events.
  • M and L: long, slim mats that fit a mouse plus a small keyboard, such as a compact or tenkeyless board. L gives your mouse a little more side room.
  • XL and XXL: the sizes for a full keyboard with a number pad and a mouse. XXL is deeper, so your wrists rest on the cloth as well.
  • XXXL and XXXXL: whole-desk coverage for keyboard, mouse, notebook and laptop or controller. XXXL is wider but shallower than XXL, which suits long desks that are not very deep.
  • TCG Mat (14 x 24 in): sized for card games, and also a useful compact mat for a small keyboard and mouse.
  • Chair mats (80 x 120, 100 x 150 and 120 x 180 cm): placed under a desk chair on hard floors, they continue your hangar theme from the desk to the floor.

Before you order, measure the width and depth of your desk, then leave a few centimeters of margin on each side so the mat sits flat and clear of the edge.

Surface and Build

Every Gundam pad is built with the same specifications:

  • Surface: micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth and optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings. It works with laser and optical mice.
  • Base: 3 mm natural rubber with a non-slip textured grip that stays in place.
  • Edges: precision-stitched, anti-fray borders.
  • Print: high-definition, fade-resistant print.

The right size depends on how you play. In FPS games at a low DPI, you aim with your whole arm, so an XL or larger mat keeps the mouse on the cloth through wide sweeps. At a high DPI, small wrist movements cover the screen, and an M or L usually feels right. MMO, strategy and mecha action players who rely on a full keyboard and many keybinds tend to choose XXL or bigger, so both hands work on one continuous surface.

For office tasks, CAD work or simply browsing, the cloth is quiet under the mouse and comfortable under your forearms, and the rubber base keeps the mat from creeping across the desk.

Gundam Desk Setup Ideas

Mobile Suit Gaming Battlestation

Start with a bold battle scene such as Gundam Neon Skyline or Gundam Epyon Plasma Wings on an XXL mat, then add a backlit keyboard and a shelf of built model kits behind the monitor. The mat ties the display and the desk into one theme.

Engineer's Office or Workshop Desk

The blueprint designs fit a more professional space. RX-78-2 Gundam Blueprint or Gundam Unicorn Blueprint on an XL or XXXL mat looks like a technical drawing at first glance, which makes it easy to use at work while still showing your love of the series.

Streaming Backdrop and Gift Ideas

On camera, a famous silhouette like the RX-78-2 is recognized instantly. Gundam fans of every generation, from Universal Century veterans to newer viewers, are easy to shop for with this range; if you are not sure of their desk size, XL is a safe middle ground. If the person you are shopping for prefers mind games to mobile suits, our Death Note mouse pads are a darker alternative.

How to Care for Your Mouse Pad

  • Wipe spots with a damp cloth.
  • When it needs more, the pad can be washed, including on a gentle machine cycle in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
  • Air dry it flat.
  • Skip bleach and the tumble dryer, and do not iron the print.

Production and Shipping

Each pad is made to order for you. Production takes 1 to 3 business days, shipping takes 2 to 5 business days, and tracking is sent by email as soon as your order ships. For return questions, see our returns policy.

Can I wash my Gundam mouse pad?

Yes. Wipe small marks with a damp cloth, or wash it on a gentle machine cycle in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Air dry it flat afterwards.

Does it work with my mouse?

Yes. The micro-woven polyester surface works with laser and optical mice and is optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings.

Why do two designs have the same name?
