Product Description
This Sword Art Online round rug puts the floating castle of Aincrad dead center, its tiers of stone and moss stacked into a cone that tapers to a point far below the clouds. The whole artwork is laid out for the circle: a sky-blue medallion in the middle, a navy ring of dragons, swords and keys around it, and a pale border of clouds and red-roofed towers at the edge.
A circle behaves differently from a rectangle. It softens the corners of a square room, tucks under a desk chair without fuss and gives a reading nook a clear center. Slide it beneath your seat and it works as a chair mat that keeps the castle in view while you play. Chair wheels glide across the low pile.
The Design: Illuminated Sky Plate
Picture a painted porcelain plate crossed with a page from an illuminated manuscript. Fine ink outlines and soft watercolor washes give every tower and cloud a hand-drawn feel, and the print keeps that detail down to the smallest spire.
In the middle, Aincrad hangs in open sky. Thin waterfalls spill off its edges, spired outposts hover nearby and small islands drift through the clouds. Around that medallion the navy ring carries four dragons, each in a cloud-shaped frame, with upright swords, brass keys, treasure chests and red-roofed towers set between them. Gold scrollwork and tiny stars fill every gap.
The palette stays cool and disciplined: slate-gray stone, sky blue, deep navy and antique gold, with the red tower roofs as the only warm notes. This one leans ornate rather than action-packed.
