Sword Art Online Rugs

A Sword Art Online rug is a natural upgrade for any gaming setup built around long sessions and big boss fights. This collection brings Kirito's twin blades, Asuna's lightning-fast rapier, Sinon's sniper rifle, Alice's golden armor and Eugeo's blue rose sword to your floor in original fan-inspired artwork by Padloom. Each anime rug is printed to order, so it is produced only after you choose your design, size and quality.

All ten designs come in five rectangular sizes from 2 x 3 ft to 5 x 7 ft. You can pick a smooth velvet Standard surface that keeps every detail crisp, or a cushioned Premium surface that feels softer under bare feet, and both versions have a non-slip backing. Because the whole range was drawn with gaming chairs in mind, it is easy to find a mat that protects your floor while showing off your favorite arc, whether that is Aincrad, Gun Gale Online or Alicization.

Sword Art Online Rug Designs in the Collection

The collection follows the series from the floating castle of Aincrad through to the Underworld. Most designs are dynamic action scenes with glowing blades and motion effects, which is exactly what you want from a rug that sits behind you on stream or under your desk.

Kirito Rugs: The Black Swordsman

Kirito leads the collection with several dual-blade designs. Two different artworks share the name Kirito Dual Wield Rug, each showing the Black Swordsman with a sword in each hand mid-combat, so you can compare both on their product pages and pick the composition you like best. The Kirito Aincrad Dual Wield Rug places the same signature fighting style in the setting of the first arc, the floating castle where players were trapped until someone could clear all one hundred floors. If you only buy one Sword Art Online rug for a gaming room, a Kirito design is the obvious starting point. Fans drawn to young heroes trapped in high-stakes worlds may also like our Neon Genesis Evangelion rugs.

Kirito and Asuna Rugs

For fans who follow the series for its central partnership, two designs show the pair together. The Kirito & Asuna Knights Rug presents them as a matched team of swordsmen in armor, a heroic composition that fills a larger size beautifully. The Kirito & Asuna You Died Rug adds a darker, gamer-humor twist with a game-over theme that anyone who has lost a hard boss fight will appreciate.

Asuna also gets a solo piece. The Asuna Lightning Flash Rug celebrates her nickname from the first arc and her rapid rapier thrusts, with a sense of speed that makes it one of the most energetic designs in the range.

Alicization Knights: Alice and Eugeo

The Underworld arc introduced a new cast of knights, and two of them have their own rugs. The Alice Golden Knight Rug shows the Integrity Knight in her golden armor, a bright, regal design that stands out against darker flooring. The Eugeo Blue Rose Knight Rug pairs Kirito's closest friend with the icy blue rose blade he carries. Placed side by side, gold and blue, the two designs make a striking pair for a larger game room. If armored heroes and big battles are what you love, our Gundam rugs give that energy a mecha twist.

Sinon and Yui

The Sinon Sniper Action Rug brings the marksman from Gun Gale Online into the lineup, rifle ready, for fans who prefer long range to close combat. The Yui Digital Pixie Rug takes a gentler direction, showing the AI navigation pixie who became Kirito and Asuna's daughter. It is a softer, more whimsical design that works well in a bedroom.

Sword Art Online Rug Sizes

Every design in this collection is available in the five sizes below. Think about where the rug will sit and how much floor you want covered before you choose.

If your desk is part of a dual-monitor or racing-seat setup, consider going one size up so the chair never rolls off the edge. A good test: sit at the desk, push back as far as you normally do and check that all of the chair's wheels are still on the rug. For most setups that means 2.6 x 3.9 ft or larger. In open floor space, leave about 18 to 24 inches of bare floor around the rug so the room still feels balanced.

Standard vs Premium: Picking Your Anime Rug Quality

Both quality levels use the same print and both include a non-slip backing. The difference comes down to thickness, softness and where the rug will live.

• Standard Level: a lightweight 5 mm rug with a shiny velvet surface that makes glowing blades, hair highlights and small details look sharp. It has a faux leather non-slip backing and is our recommended choice under a desk chair, because the wheels roll smoothly across the flatter surface.
• Premium Level: a softer, cushioned 7 mm rug with a plush surface that is comfortable to stand or sit on. It has a natural cotton anti-slip backing and suits bedrooms, living rooms and kids' rooms.

Sword Art Online Rug Ideas by Room

Gaming Room and Battle Station

This is where the collection shines. A Standard rug in 2.6 x 3.9 ft or 3.3 x 5 ft under your chair protects hardwood and laminate from wheel marks and puts Kirito, Asuna or Sinon in the background of every stream. The darker action designs pair well with RGB lighting in blue, purple or white. Our Sword Art Online mouse pads carry the duel up onto the desk.

Bedroom

For a bedroom, switch to Premium. A 3.3 x 5 ft rug beside the bed gives you a soft spot to land in the morning, and calmer designs like the Yui Digital Pixie Rug or the Alice Golden Knight Rug keep the space feeling relaxed. More options for quiet sleeping spaces are in our bedroom rugs.

Dorm Rooms

Dorm floors are usually cold tile or thin carpet. A 4 x 6 ft anime rug covers most of the open floor, adds warmth and makes a shared room feel like your own. The rugs are light and arrive folded, so they are easy to pack up at the end of the semester.

Home Office

If you work and play at the same desk, a single chair mat handles both. The Eugeo Blue Rose Knight Rug and the Kirito & Asuna Knights Rug have a slightly more illustrative, poster-like feel that suits a home office without looking out of place on a video call.

Printing, Durability and Safety

We use HD sublimation printing, which bonds the ink directly into the fibers, so the design will not crack or peel even under a rolling chair. The inks are UV-resistant for normal daylight, though long exposure to strong direct sun is still best avoided. Reinforced stitched edges resist fraying and curling over time. The non-slip backing grips hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete and low-pile carpet. Our inks are non-toxic and skin-safe, and every rug is meant for indoor use only.

How to Care for Your Sword Art Online Rug

• Vacuum on low suction or shake the rug out to remove dust and crumbs.
• Blot spilled drinks immediately with a damp cloth; avoid rubbing.
• For a full clean, hand wash with cold water and a mild detergent, then lay it flat to air dry.
• Never use bleach, harsh chemicals or a tumble dryer, and do not iron the printed surface.
• Rotate the rug every so often, especially under a chair, so wear stays even.
• Because it ships folded, give the rug a few days on the floor and the creases will relax.

Shipping and Returns

Every rug is made to order. Most orders are produced within 1 to 3 business days and delivered in 5 to 12 days depending on your location, with tracking information sent by email. Because each rug is printed for your specific order, we accept returns within 14 days for shipping damage or a defect, but not for a change of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these official Sword Art Online rugs?

No. These are original fan-inspired designs created by Padloom and printed on our own rugs. They are not affiliated with the creators or publishers of the series.

What size Sword Art Online rug fits under a gaming chair?

Choose the Standard Level in 2.6 x 3.9 ft for a typical gaming chair, or 3.3 x 5 ft for a wide desk. The velvet surface lets the wheels glide and the faux leather backing keeps the rug in place.

Can I wash my anime rug?

Yes, by hand. Spot clean spills with a damp cloth and, when the rug needs more, hand wash with cold water and mild detergent and air dry it flat.

Will the rug slide around under my chair?

No. Both quality levels have a non-slip backing designed for hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl and low-pile carpet, so the rug stays put as you roll.

Are there shaped or round Sword Art Online rugs?

Not at the moment. Every design in this collection is a rectangular rug in five sizes.
