This Overlord round rug puts Ainz Ooal Gown at the center of a circle, standing in a black robe with gold trim and purple ribbons, one bony hand gripping a golden staff crowned with serpent heads. Crimson orbs glow at his shoulders and chest, and the artwork is laid out for the circle, with a ring of skulls, crowns and banners wrapped around him. It reads like a royal seal.
A round shape suits a character who rules from a throne room. It softens the corners of a square room and gives a gaming corner a clear center. Under a desk, it works as a chair mat for your seat, and the edge never catches the casters. Beside a bed or in front of an armchair, it becomes a small piece of dark fantasy underfoot.
The Design: Purple Court Heraldry
The artwork leans on heraldry. Inside the inner medallion, Ainz stands against deep violet filigree, his bone-white skull and ribcage sharp against the near-black robe. Gold is used sparingly, tracing the hem, the ribbons and the twisting coils of the staff, where several snake heads fan out like a crown.
