Product Description
A wooden storage shed with its double doors swung open sits at the heart of this Rust round rug, a green sleeping bag resting at its feet and a code lock blinking red and green beside it. The whole artwork is laid out for the circle, with a cream ground, blue scrollwork and a brown border that follows the edge all the way around.
Round shapes soften the hard corners of a gaming corner. Under a desk it works as a chair mat that frames your seat like a small compound of its own, and the round edge looks just as tidy beside a bed or in front of an armchair.
The Design: Ornate Base Blueprint
Most Rust artwork leans on grit and streaked metal. This piece takes the opposite route and dresses the base-building toolkit as an heirloom tile pattern. Every object a player hauls back to camp becomes a motif: corrugated metal doors, stacked stone blocks, clay furnaces with a live orange fire, workbenches, blue blueprint scrolls, olive sleeping bags and small code locks with their keypads.
The center cartouche holds the main scene, framed by a scalloped medallion in rust brown and deep blue. Around it the motifs repeat in mirrored sets, with furnaces at the top and bottom, code locks left and right, and blueprints and sleeping bags in the diagonals. Eight-point stars anchor the pattern, while hammers, wood planks and oak leaves run around the outer ring. Base Builder on the Floor
The cut is a true circle, so there are no corners to curl or catch a chair leg. Soft plush low pile covers the surface, easy underfoot after a long session. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hardwood, laminate and tile. When dust builds up or something spills, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. Dye-sublimation printing sets the colors into the fibers, so the blues and rust browns stay put through washes. It suits a gaming room rug setup best, though a study or bedroom takes it just as well.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm, 120 cm, 140 cm, 160 cm and 180 cm (70.9″). The 80 and 100 cm sizes fit under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the central shed stays visible between the chair legs. At 120 to 140 cm the border and corner motifs start to read, which works in a reading nook or a kids' corner. Go to 160 or 180 cm when you want a round area rug at the center of a seating area, with the medallion sitting between the sofa and the screen. The smaller diameters also work as an accent rug by a doorway.
Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
