Dark red, bone cream and midnight black hold this Berserk round rug together: a single crimson Behelit hangs at the center with its face caught mid-expression, while feathers, crescent moons and the Brand of Sacrifice circle it in measured rings. The artwork is laid out for the circle, so every ring closes on itself and no corner is cut off.
A circle changes how a room reads. It softens the hard lines of a square floor, sits neatly under a desk chair, and gives a reading corner or the space beside a bed a clear center. This one pulls the eye straight down to the egg, the way a glance falls to a single lit candle.
The Design: Crimson Egg, Gilded Thorns
Where most Berserk art leans on heavy ink and motion, this piece borrows the logic of an heirloom carpet. The Behelit rests on a cream disc split into eight segments, and a ring of black eclipse discs, each with a glowing red corona, sits just outside it. Beyond that the field turns near-black and fills with ivory feathers, pale crescent moons, small gold stars, thorny vines and red rosebuds. Four red brand marks stand at the compass points, with smaller egg faces tucked between them. A wide crimson border closes the scene with more eclipse discs and white blossoms that each cradle a tiny egg.
The palette stays tight. Blood red and soot black do the heavy lifting, bone white gives the eye some air, and a thin line of antique gold ties the rings together. Nothing is bright for its own sake.
