Product Description
This Harry Potter round rug puts a black iron cauldron at the center of the floor, bubbling over a crackling fire while pearly smoke in lilac, cream and pale gold curls upward. Eight jeweled potion bottles circle it, each in its own cream cartouche. The whole artwork is laid out for the circle, so nothing is cropped and nothing feels squeezed in.
A round shape works differently from a rectangle. It softens the hard corners of a square room, settles neatly into a reading nook, and lands beside a bed like a small pool of candlelight. Under a desk chair it also works as a chair mat, with the cauldron peeking out in front of your feet.
The Design: Potion Shelf Mosaic
Think of an old apothecary cabinet flattened into a pattern. A triple-moon emblem sits on the belly of the cauldron, a crescent, a star and another crescent in gold. Around it, the bottles come in amber, cut crystal, dark bubbling brew, emerald, opal, amethyst, star-spangled sapphire and a heart-shaped rose pink. Between them grow mandrake roots with small leafy crowns, clusters of mushrooms and bundles of lavender.
Brass scales, mortar and pestle sets and jars of dried herbs fill the gaps, all on a near-black ground that makes the gold linework glow. A deep plum border finishes the edge, dotted with tiny vials and white blossoms. Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for regular use. Premium Level has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for high-traffic spots.
