My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
This Evangelion hangar mouse pad drops you onto the steel catwalks of the NERV hangar, where blinding overhead lights fall on three EVA Units held in their restraints moments before launch. Stretched out as an Evangelion hangar desk mat, the scene places each pilot in front of their towering machine, so the people look small against the armor rising behind them.
Fans who love the quiet buildup before a sortie as much as the fight itself will feel at home here. It suits a gaming station, a drawing desk or an office corner that could use a little command-center tension.
Inside the Evangelion hangar desk mat artwork
Some of the most memorable moments in the series happen before anything moves. The countdown, the locked restraints and the pilots waiting in silence all build pressure, and this design freezes that pause. Unit-01 carries a primal readiness, Unit-00 stands eerily still and Unit-02 leans forward in an aggressive posture, giving each machine its own personality. The industrial palette is bold without shouting, and the pilots in the foreground add a human scale that viewers of the show recognize at a glance.
Choose the right Evangelion hangar mouse pad size
- M (11.8″ × 27.6″): a slim strip that holds a mouse plus a compact keyboard.
- XL (15.7″ × 35.4″): a popular middle ground under a full-size board and mouse.
- XXXL (19.7″ × 39.4″): an extra-wide surface for multi-monitor desks.
- Chair mats (S, M and L): keep chair wheels off wooden or tiled floors.
Built to stay put before deployment
The top layer is micro-woven polyester cloth, tuned for an even glide and friendly to optical and laser mice. Beneath it, 3 mm of natural rubber keeps this Evangelion hangar mouse pad from drifting across your desk, while precision-stitched anti-fray edges protect the outline. An HD fade-resistant print holds the steel grays and harsh hangar lights clear through daily use.
Spills come off with a damp cloth and a little patience. If the whole mat needs washing, put it on a gentle cycle in cold or lukewarm water using mild detergent, and dry it flat in the open air. Keep bleach out of the drum, leave the dryer off and do not iron the printed side. Each hangar mat is made to order, takes 1–3 business days to produce and ships within 2–5 business days.
