My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
The red armor gleams against a city swallowed in chaos, and Evangelion Unit-02 stands ready for battle. This desk mat captures the iconic mecha in a moment of tense anticipation, its sharp silhouette cutting through a haze of light and steel. With jagged teeth bared and its head lowered like a predator, Unit-02 feels both mechanical and alive, embodying the raw energy that makes Neon Genesis Evangelion unforgettable. For fans who have followed the EVA pilots into every desperate fight, this artwork delivers a piece of that apocalyptic atmosphere straight to your desk.
The extended mouse pad offers more than striking visuals—it’s built to enhance your setup. Its oversized surface makes room for keyboard, mouse, and accessories, unifying your desk into a single command center. At 3mm thick, it balances comfort and responsiveness, giving your wrist support without dulling precision. The cloth surface ensures smooth motion for every flick or drag, while the non-slip base keeps it firmly in place, even during intense gaming sessions. Just like the EVA itself, it stays steady under pressure.
This design resonates with the darker themes of Evangelion: humanity’s struggle, the fragile line between machine and beast, and the will to fight against overwhelming odds. Unit-02 isn’t just a machine; it’s a symbol of ferocity, defiance, and survival. Having it sprawled across your desk transforms the space into something more atmospheric, reminding you of the anime’s intensity each time you glance down.
It’s not just a desk mat—it’s an artifact of a series that continues to influence generations. With Unit-02 in battle mode, your workspace carries the energy of resistance, resilience, and the weight of destiny.
