My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
This Harry Potter mouse pad layers clippings from the Daily Prophet into a black-and-white newspaper collage that runs edge to edge on the larger Harry Potter desk mat sizes. Headlines about the breakout from Azkaban, images of wanted fugitives, warnings of dark times and the looming shadow of Voldemort's return all overlap, while Bellatrix Lestrange stares out from among the pages.
It is meant for readers and moviegoers who remember exactly how it felt when the wizarding world turned dark. The grayscale look also fits anyone who loves vintage print, typography or a desk with a moody, bookish feel.
Why this Harry Potter mouse pad stands out
In the story, the Daily Prophet is more than a newspaper. It shapes what the wizarding public believes, sometimes spreading fear and sometimes burying the truth, so its front pages track the rise of danger better than almost anything else. A collage of those headlines captures the tension of the later years, when every edition seemed to bring worse news. The mix of fonts, portraits and scattered clippings gives the design a sense of movement, almost like enchanted paper. Find more wizarding designs among our Harry Potter mouse pads and desk mats.
Which Harry Potter desk mat size suits you?
- S (30 × 40 cm) works as a classic mouse pad.
- L (30 × 80 cm) is a slim strip for keyboard and mouse.
- XXL (60 × 90 cm) gives the collage room on a bigger desk.
- Chair mats (up to 120 × 180 cm) protect hard floors under a chair.
Durable and easy to clean
A micro-woven polyester cloth top provides a smooth glide, and optical and laser mice both read it without trouble. The 3 mm natural rubber base stays firmly in place, precision-stitched edges hold up against fraying, and the HD print is fade-resistant, keeping the headlines sharp.
Wipe marks away with a damp cloth as they happen. When a deeper clean is due, put it through a gentle machine wash in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent, then air dry it lying flat. Bleach, tumble dryers and ironing the print will all cause damage, so leave them out. Because it is made to order, expect 1–3 business days of production and 2–5 business days of shipping.
Want the magic on your floor too? Our Harry Potter rugs pair well with this desk mat, and the wider movie and TV mouse pads range covers other favorite stories.
