Product Description
This Harry Potter round rug turns a castle gateway into a floor medallion: a golden sun-disc glows above tall arched wooden doors, ringed by silver spirit animals and four house banners. The artwork is laid out for the circle, with every crest, wand and flourish placed at a fixed point around the center. Midnight blue, antique gold and deep plum carry the palette.
A circle softens the corners of a square room in a way no rectangle can. Slide it under a desk and the glowing doors sit right where your eyes land during a long session, or set it beside a bed so the silver creatures catch the morning light. In the smaller diameters it also works as a chair mat that still looks like a piece of art.
The Design: Doors and Spirit Animals
At the heart sits a gold medallion with a star-compass face, throwing rays of light over a pair of carved wooden doors set into old stone. Wisps of pale smoke curl up on either side. Around that core, the artist spaced glowing silver-blue creatures: an owl with wings spread at the top and bottom, plus leaping hares and a running wolf at the corners of the ring. It is a calm, ceremonial scene, closer to a stained-glass window than a movie poster.
Between them hang four banners in red, green, blue and yellow, each in its own pale stone frame. Small details fill the gaps: wooden training dummies, dark boar-head hangings, oval mirrors, tasseled cushions and crossed wands. The outer border is deep plum with gold coins and more wands marching around the rim. Every ring rewards a second look, which is what separates this piece from a simple crest rug.
