A rearing badger stands on a golden shield at the center of this Harry Potter round rug, wrapped in sunflowers and curling green leaves. The artwork is laid out for the circle, with rings of honey pots, hearths, garden trowels and little gold cups spinning outward to a plum border where badgers walk the rim. Warm, yellow, unmistakably Hufflepuff.
Round shapes give this crest room to breathe. Slide it under a desk and the shield stays framed by the rings, or lay it in a reading nook where the sunburst above the badger catches your eye from the armchair. Corners vanish, and a boxy room feels a little gentler.
The Design: Badger Crest and Hearth
This is a heraldic piece, painted in the manner of an illuminated manuscript. The center medallion holds a black-and-cream badger on a deep yellow shield, wrapped in an ornate black-and-gold frame with a small sun above and a star below. Two large sunflowers flank it, their stems twining into vines that fill the cream field. Around that sits a ring of dark green and plum cartouches: stone hearths with glowing fires, jars of honeycomb, silver trowels, sunflower tiles and golden cups that each hold a tiny badger.
